How to avail the Direct Supply of DVC
Power
Guidelines
for new clientele - a prospective entrepreneur
intending to set up an industrial unit
in Damodar Valley area or a distributing
licensee intending to engage in retail
distribution and sale of power at voltage
below 30,000 volts in Damodar Valley:

To
submit an application along with
a non-refundable application money.
-
To deposit, on establishment of
technical feasibility, a sum determined
by DVC as service charge towards
establishing distribution line,
terminal arrangement, bay with
metering consumer arrangement
etc, either by A/C payee Demand
Draft or Pay Order in favor of
CAO, DVC, Kolkata.

5(five) copies of the Mouza map
demarcating the location (duly
signed by the applicant) and 5
(five) copies of sketch / site
plan (duly signed by the applicant)
showing the plant / distributing
Sub-station / Traction Sub-station
location and the location of the
nearby DVC Sub-station from where
supply is proposed to be taken
along with photocopy of the attested
Registration Certificate of the
Company and Pollution Certificate
to be enclosed with the application.

To execute, before commencement
of supply, an agreement with DVC
for such supply in the standard
agreement format.

DVC consumer is required to pay
for power consumption in advance
by 4th of each consumption month
for consumption of power for that
month. So, a new customer has
to pay this advance amount as
determined by DVC for 1st consumption
prior to commencement of power
supply
